Man have our 'flat selves' been busy traveling all over. Everyday we come in excited to see who has returned. We have learned so many things like the reasons behind Boston Tea Party and Alamo, habitats for Trumpeter Swans, went to the land down under!, ate some great food, and visited some great family and friends and so much more! Thank you to all of you who have helped us out! I am sad to report that all of my attempts to upload both the music concert and the reader's theater videos have been unsuccessful! I am still learning all of these tips and tricks. Sorry! My post is a bit late, but we had a lot going on. :) Here are some of the pieces we made to acknowledge Earth Day. We had fun creating and writing about how we could care for the Earth, reusing some old crayons to make some new, personal and unique ones and even planted some seeds in some special pots. We can't wait to see them start to sprout! "Help!" Stanley cried out one morning when he woke up with a bulletin board on top of him. Luckily Stanley was not hurt when his parents came to the rescue him, except for being FLAT! Stanley had to learn to do things a little different as a flat person but he found some of the advantages, like going to visit his friend in California traveling through the mail!
We decided to try this out for ourselves! We have created flat versions of ourselves to send out to different places in our state, country and even a few of us are traveling off of our continent. We are off on our way but we are sure excited to return and learn all about the places we have traveled. |
